Description: This was never supposed to be "Cardart," it was supposed to get a hole punched through it & become a custom hangtag for my first JJ Vinty Jordan Hoodie. Before I ever made this card, in the Fall of 2019 my friend & I were talking about creating a Collectibles Resell website, he mentioned selling cards, and though I wasnt excited to take on a new business venture, I recommended him to MASHUP (a trend he invented in the NYC fashion scene) some lower end cards, and sell those: He did. A few months later I would pull out some of my old personal cards, i chose to use multiple duplicate Upper Deck Jordans, created this as a hang tag, & shared it on IG with multiple hashtags. One of those hashtags was #cardart, and a few nights after posting it, I was scrolling and decided to check my own hashtags, and to my surprise there were a couple guys who had recently used it as well. Less than a handful of us on IG started communicating, & helped build what is now a well established & inspiring community of creativity, also known as the CardArt Community.

*This is the first ever slabbed piece of CardArt,.
